Hosting and media delivery

Vercel hosts and delivers this site and its public media. When your browser requests a page or asset, Vercel may process ordinary request information, such as your IP address, the requested address and time, browser or device details, and security or diagnostic information needed to deliver and protect the service.

Public images and other media may be delivered directly by Vercel. They are published site content, not files submitted by visitors. See the Vercel Privacy Notice ↗ for more about its practices.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how people find and use it. When active, it may collect or derive page visits and interactions, referral or campaign information, approximate location, and browser, operating-system, and device categories. Google Analytics uses identifiers and may set cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions.

Depending on your approximate region, analytics will wait for your Allow choice before it starts. If your approximate location is unavailable, it will also wait for a choice. Elsewhere, you can reject analytics when asked, or change that choice here at any time. The site’s control layer retains only your resulting preference, not raw location data.

Choosing Reject stops future analytics measurement in this browser; choosing Allow enables it. You can review or change your choice with the settings control below.

Analytics preference and cookies

Google Analytics may use cookies for visit and session measurement. This site also remembers your analytics choice so it can be applied when you return.

Theme and interface preferences

Your light or dark theme and certain interface preferences may be remembered to make the site easier to use.

Egregore model and session data

Egregore may keep its downloaded model locally for reuse. Its current conversation stays with the browser while you use it.

Egregore

Egregore is a local-first assistant. Opening its page does not download the model. Only the explicit “Load Egregore” action downloads the model, which is about 2 GB and comes directly from Hugging Face.

The model may be kept locally in your browser for reuse. Your prompts, assembled context, responses, and conversation history are processed in your browser and are not sent to a hosted inference service. Hugging Face receives the download request only if you choose to load the model.

The New session control can clear your current conversation. You can also use Egregore’s Remove downloaded model control to remove the locally kept model, or clear site data through your browser.

Links to third-party websites, profiles, papers, and source material take you to services with their own privacy practices. This notice does not control what those services collect after you follow a link.

Retention

Analytics information is kept according to Google Analytics settings and only as long as reasonably needed to understand site use, investigate unusual traffic, and maintain the site. Vercel retains hosting and security information under its own policies. Messages you send by email may be kept as needed to reply and maintain an appropriate record of the exchange.

Browser-held data follows the choices described above: preferences remain until you change or clear them, and an Egregore model remains until you remove it, clear site data, or your browser removes it. Egregore conversations are not kept as hosted history.

Your choices and rights

You can reject or change analytics, clear or block cookies and other site data in your browser, and remove the Egregore model. Blocking browser-held data may stop preferences or local features from working as intended.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask about, access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information.
